I’ve been performing for as long as I’ve been able to walk and professionally for the last 16 years.
Now, at the risk of sounding like a total loser… here’s my bio, in third person.
Chloé Zuel has spent the last 14 years on Australian stages, best known for originating the role of ‘Eliza Hamilton’ in the Australian production of Hamilton The Musical.
Most recently she played Elizabeth in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein play for Shake and Stir. Chloé previously originated the role of ‘Catherine of Aragon’ in the Australian cast of Six the Musical, played ‘Anita’ in West Side Story Australia, New Zealand, Germany and ‘Sarah’ in Ragtime for The Production Company. Prior to that, Chloé was Little Eva/Shirelles in the premier production of Beautiful; The Carole King Musical (Michael Cassel) and ‘Reno’ in Dusty for the Adelaide Production Company season.
Other theatre credits include: ‘Dynamite’ in Hairspray The Musical, ‘Pilar’ in Legally Blonde the Musical, ‘Maid’ in The Mikado for The Court Theatre Christchurch, ‘Éponine’ understudy in Cameron Mackintosh’s Les Misérables, ‘Joanne’ in Rent for The Hayes Theatre, ‘Ronette’ in the Australian tour of Little Shop of Horrors and ‘Annie’ in Porgy and Bess for Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
Chloé has performed internationally as a lead singer, her most notable engagements including a two year stint at Universal Studios Japan and a three-month residency with a nine-piece band at The Bellini Lounge in The Venetian Macau.
In 2023 Chloé was a soloist and feature singer in Disney 100: The Concert (MM Creative) alongside Sydney Symphony Orchestra, The Gold Coast Pops, and Perth Symphony Orchestra. Following the birth of her son, Chloé returned to the stage In 2024 to perform in the concert Superstars – A Celebration of Andrew Lloyd Webber & Tim Rice for The Very Popular Theatre Company alongside Marina Prior, Silvie Paladino, Joshua Robson and Daniel Belle.
